Our Director of Safety & Security and campus administration are actively monitoring the weather conditions for tomorrow’s 1st Grade Field Day activities.
At this time, Field Day is still planned for **9:30 AM at Lion Stadium**. However, if weather conditions do not permit outdoor activities, Field Day will be moved indoors to **D.O. Fulton Gym at Vernon High School**.

There will be science camps, art camps, cooking camps and a lego camp for a variety of age groups from kindergartners to eighth graders. Check out the info below. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is collecting parent feedback, and Vernon Independent School District is participating!

📢 Medication Pickup Reminder 📢
Parents/Guardians: Please make arrangements to pick up your student’s medication from the nurse’s office before next Thursday.
A parent or guardian must come in and sign the medication out of the nurse’s care. For the safety of our students, medications cannot be sent home with students.
Any medications remaining in our care after Thursday will be properly discarded on Friday according to school policy.
Thank you for your cooperation and helping us keep our students safe!

Vernon ISD is operating on its Early Release schedule today so our students and employees can participate in and enjoy the Santa Rosa Rodeo Parade.
