Right behind them after shooting a 58 was the foursome of Nick Hutchins, Reba Hutchins, Kathy McClellan and Tom Boyd. Three teams shot 63 and tied for third and fourth place. After a card playoff, the team of Jim Parmer, Sandie Parmer, Ed Marsh and Danny Woodard finished third, with Charlie Boren, Mary Sue Gunn, George Pattison and Bowie Franks taking fourth. Vernon ISD cares about our students' health -- both mental and physical. Students learn better when they're healthy both mentally and physically. We are now partnering with Texas Tech to bring a free telemedicine program to the community. Today VISD Supt. Dr. Kermit Ward stopped by Vernon Middle School to deliver a birthday card to custodian Elzie Wilson who is celebrating a birthday this month. Once or twice every month of this school year, Dr. Ward will be hand delivering birthday cards to employees who celebrate birthdays during that specific month.
